I think I get to count 2 years with Kim and 34 years with Paul as 36 years married. In fact that first one year on each marriage should count as TWENTY...with all the new adjustments?!? Ya, Think!!! I go "home" to Moses Lake and miss Utah...then I go to "home" to Utah and miss Moses Lake!?! Most of all I miss ALL MY FRIENDS in Moses Lake. I love all my new friends in Utah, too. Let's just say...I count my BLESSINGS a lot!!!!
Combining families has been quite a challenge. I am thankful for our children who accepted from the beginning and made the process easier. I am thankful that my children have always been open and loving to anyone and everyone that has been part of our home. I get to see some of my grandchildren more but deeply miss seeing the Perrins' Family as often as before. The McConkie Family has a tradition of open doors and open hearts!!!! Having Janet and Mattie Bergeson plus a visit from Alan & Barb and Bryce and Brett this last month was so much fun! Remember if you are in the neighborhood...drop on in!!! Give me a little notice and I'll feed you!!!! :)
